Sunday March 20 - what a beautiful day for being outside.

We want to give a great big THANK YOU to all those that gave up their afternoon to help us out for a few hours. It really was a lot of fun getting outside with everyone. It was a little cool but once you got moving, it was very comfortable - even a little warm (Ron was stripping down after only a few minutes).

For those of you that wanted to come but couldn't, we missed you! Not to worry though, we'll be doing it again soon I think. It was much more work than we planned on and we were short a chainsaw. There is a lot more to take care of (always something going on around here).

The boys in the field (Ernie and Lorenzo) decided to start a scrap while were working - they broke down part of the fence and were together in the front field screaming at each other. We discovered them when we broke for dinner.

Once the llamas were straightened out, we had a nice casual dinner of subs/chicken chili/macaroni salad and multiple desert options. Karen was at it again in the kitchen! She really enjoys cooking and providing.

All in all, a great day. Everyone enjoyed themselves and made a significant contribution to our pond project.
