Let me tell you - I am so glad to see the trees and grass get green again. It gets so dreary after months of cold and colorlessness. We are both really enjoying the birds, gardens and animals again.

The front steps finally got finished last week. Hubbards Masonry in Keymar did a very nice job for a very reasonable price - we would heartily recommend them.

We got the garden planted recently. We are repeating what worked last year and trying a few new things as well (celery, snap peas). We also planted a mini-orchard out back - apples, pears, nectarines, blackberries, blueberries. Looking forward to when these mature and start to produce.
